Teaching
My commitment to politically relevant research transcends my own work and is at the heart of my teaching and mentorship. I consider my teaching as a means to facilitate discussions and interactions where students connect their newly gained insights to their lifeworlds, and gain awareness of their agency in their communities. The goal of my classes is to recognize and appreciate the diversity of authors’ voices and origins, from empiricism to theory.
